Through our partnership with MOVES, our patients have access to advanced soft-tissue and orthopedic surgical procedures without having to travel to a separate specialty hospital.
When your pet needs specialized surgical care, a MOVES board-certified veterinary surgeon works alongside the Doug Fir team you already know and trust. This collaborative approach allows your pet to receive advanced surgical care while remaining in the familiar environment of our hospital.
For many pets, especially those who are anxious, older, or managing other medical conditions, receiving care in a familiar setting can make the experience a little easier. It also allows our team to remain closely involved in your pet's care before, during, and after their procedure.
How It Works
If your veterinarian believes your pet may benefit from a specialty surgical procedure, our team will discuss the recommendation with you and help coordinate care with our MOVES surgical specialist.
